Thanks for visiting KXOJ.com! I am excited to get to spend weekday afternoons with you!
Ever since I can remember, I've always wanted to be a disc jockey. My mom has pictures of me with headphones on, holding a microphone in front of a record player when I was in elementary school. Today, I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing than playing great music on the radio.
My wife, Marissa and I were both raised in small Kansas towns and we were looking for a similar place to settle for raising our own kids. Bixby seems to be the closest in comparison and we love it here. It has that "rural" atmosphere, but it's close to Tulsa and the convenience of having so many things to do with the children.
We have a boy and three girls. Austen is the oldest, followed by Kara, Jenna and Lauren. We've lived in Kansas, Florida, Louisiana and we both agree that we've found our home here in Green Country.
Marissa and I are both "dyed in the wool" University of Kansas fans, as we both attended school there. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! When we're not keeping up with KU sports, we spend most of our time with our kids. Whether is going to the park, riding bikes or camping in the backyard, the kids keep us really busy and there are never any dull moments.
I seriously think Tulsa has the friendliest people I've ever met and I look forward to getting to know you.
Email me anytime with your requests and thanks for listening to KXOJ!
