Thanks for checkin’ KXOJ out! Really hope you’re enjoying the music. My radio history/life is pretty simple. Started at the age of 19 in Wisconsin and from there I went to Findlay, Ohio where I met my wife Christine! Get this…we were engaged just 2 months after we met in 1990. HA!! Been together ever since. Anyway, after Ohio, Christine and I moved out to northern San Diego for a couple of years, just being hippies, ya’ know? After that we spent 8 years in Wichita, Kansas until we moved to Tulsa in the fall of 2000. Half of my radio career has been in contemporary Christian music and I love it. I’ve had offers to go to other stations and formats, but I just can’t picture being a part of anything else other than KXOJ. I sure hope I help make your mornings as pleasurable and easy-going as possible. I know you can start your day however you want and I don’t take your choosing KXOJ lightly. We have 2 dogs: Carl (the old one) and Chloe
Family activities include, but are not limited too:
-Guitar Hero
-Wii tennis and golf (I’m 8 under par on 9 holes!)
-Watching the dogs wrestle
-Cleaning up after the dogs wrestle
-Playing in the creek at Hunter Park
-Throwing fruit snacks at each other
-Purpose in life: to finish reading a Purpose Driven Life (it’s been 3 years now)
