| About |
We believe God acted decisively in Jesus Christ to bring healing and wholeness to all. We believe God's Spirit is at work today, changing minds and hearts and transforming human lives for the glory of God. The First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, born by grace in 1885, exists to introduce Jesus Christ as a way of life, that many may come to "taste and see that the Lord is good." By the Holy Spirit we are empowered to be faithful, through worship, by listening for God to speak; through study, by asking questions and growing in Biblical understanding; through fellowship, by sharing life's joys and sorrows together; through service, by reaching out to a world in need; through stewardship, because all we have belongs to God. Our mission is to live in such a way that all we do and say shall be for the glory of God. |
